WallÄkra Stoneware Factory is located in SkÄne and traces its origins back to the 19th century, when local clay deposits supported a strong regional ceramic tradition. The workshop is particularly known for functional forms, wheel-thrown stoneware, and experimental glazes with a natural character. During the 1960s and 1970s, WallÄkra gained recognition for small vases and utilitarian objects with a pronounced handcrafted quality, now highly regarded by collectors.
