Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was one of Sweden’s most influential ceramic artists and artistic directors. He joined Gustavsberg in 1917 and created some of the factory’s most celebrated ranges, including Argenta, introduced in 1930. The series is renowned for its refined forms and hand-applied silver decoration and is regarded today as a landmark of Swedish art pottery.
