Royal Copenhagen Blue Flower Curved, early oblong bowl for butter.
This was painted by Mr. Christian Ahrensborg, who was working at Royal Copenhagen from 1780 until 1802, so this is a very early piece.
Factory first.
Length with handles 15.4 cm.
On the very first porcelain from Royal Copenhagen you ofter see glaze faults. Here is a small firing crack by one handle. There are also some small spots in the glaze. At the knop of the lid the edge is a bit sharp, so there may be a small chip there. Please see the close-up pictures. But all together the bowl is in a very good and well kept condition.
